PRIVACY POLICY

Grand Visions Media, LLC is a media agency that offers, among other things, clipping/content repurposing, digital marketing, social media growth and brand services (singularly the “Site”).

OVERVIEW

This Site is owned and operated by Grand Visions Media, LLC (“Grand Visions Media,” “GVM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an Ohio limited liability company, located at 605 Alberta St., Dayton, Ohio 45409. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to information collected on the Site and any site accessed via a user’s computer, mobile, e-reader, tablet or other device (“Device”), and any applications or sites associated with Grand Visions Media products and services that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Devices”).

This Policy is incorporated into and subject to the terms of use and conditions (“Terms”) for the Site. Each time that you access or use the Devices, you signify that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by the Terms and this Policy. If you do not agree to the Terms and this Policy, you must discontinue using our Devices. From time to time, Grand Visions Media may update this Policy. We will post the new Policy with a new effective date to notify you of changes. By accessing the Devices after the effective date, you are deemed to consent to Grand Visions Media’s then-current Policy.

Part I of this Policy sets forth Grand Visions Media’s policy as to Personal Information collected online through the Site. Part II sets forth the Policy as to Personal Information collected other than from the Site.

“Personal Information” is any information that enables Grand Visions Media to identify you, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identifier such as your name, identification number, location data, online identifier or one or more factors specific to you. Personal Information includes “sensitive Personal Information” and “pseudonymized Personal Information” but excludes anonymous information or information that has had the identity of an individual permanently removed.

Your use of the Site and/or provision of your Personal Information (including any sensitive Personal Information) to Grand Visions Media constitutes your consent to the use, storage, processing and transfer of that information in accordance with this Policy and applicable Ohio and U.S. law.

PART I – GRAND VISIONS MEDIA SITE PRIVACY POLICY

Throughout the Site, there may be forms for visitors to request information, products, and services. Grand Visions Media uses Personal Information from these forms to provide the information and materials you request.

Forms on the Site that request financial information do so in order to bill you for products or services ordered. Unique identifiers (such as your email) may be collected from visitors to verify the user’s identity for access to restricted content or features on the Site.

This Policy discloses Grand Visions Media’s privacy practices and contains detailed information about the following:

1. What information does Grand Visions Media collect?

a) Use Information. We collect technical information relating to each time a visitor comes to the Site, including IP address, browser type and version, time zone settings, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform type. We may also collect information about your visit, including pages you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, and any phone number used to call our customer service number. Gathering this technical information helps us learn what browsers we need to support, determine what sections of the Site are most popular, and understand traffic. You do not have to register with the Site before we can collect this information.

b) Information You Provide to Grand Visions Media. You may provide Personal Information to us which may include your name, home and/or work email address, postal address, phone number, your employer and job title, demographic information (if you choose to provide it), and, if you are making a purchase, your debit or credit card information (processed by our payment processor). Such information is only required to take advantage of products and services provided through the Site.

Grand Visions Media collects Personal Information in the following ways from different parts of the Site:

  • Client Applications: You share Personal Information with us when you apply for or renew services through the Site.

  • Other Registration: When registering for specific services we may ask for the same type of Personal Information (e.g., for access to gated resources).

  • Email Newsletters: When you sign up to receive email newsletters, we may require that you supply your name, email address and other information you choose to provide.

2. Do we share information with third parties?

Personal Information collected through the Site is generally collected and maintained by Grand Visions Media. We may share Personal Information in the following ways:

a) Information You Give Grand Visions Media.
(i) When you provide Personal Information on the Site to register for a service, buy a product, or take advantage of a promotion, we will share such Personal Information as necessary to complete the transaction requested by you (for example, with our payment processor or hosting provider).

(ii) We may also share limited Personal Information with selected service providers who assist us in operating the Site or delivering services (e.g., email delivery, analytics). These parties are bound by confidentiality and security obligations and may not use your information for their own purposes.

Grand Visions Media does not sell email addresses obtained from client applications or renewals, and does not sellsensitive Personal Information such as passcodes, social security numbers, or debit/credit card numbers. We do not publish such sensitive Personal Information.

3. How does Grand Visions Media use the collected information?

We use your Personal Information according to the terms of the Policy in effect at the time of use. We will only process your Personal Information, including sharing it with third parties, where (i) you have provided your consent (which can be withdrawn at any time), (ii) the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, (iii) required by law, (iv) necessary to protect your vital interests or those of another person, or (v) necessary for the purposes of Grand Visions Media’s legitimate business interests, provided your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.

We use Personal Information for the following purposes (as applicable):

  • to carry out our obligations arising from your service agreement, and any other agreement entered into between you and Grand Visions Media;

  • to provide you with the information, products and services you request from us;

  • to respond to your questions and provide related customer service;

  • to improve the Site;

  • to send you Grand Visions Media publications, information about benefits and special offers, and other information that we believe is relevant and useful to you, where you have not opted out of receiving such information (you may opt out at any time by emailing us at account1@grand-visions-media.com);

  • to notify you about changes to services or to ask you to provide feedback;

  • to enable you to partake in a prize draw, competition or complete a survey (if offered);

  • to administer and protect our business and the Site (including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, system maintenance, support, reporting and hosting of data); and

  • to comply with applicable laws or legal processes, including providing information on individual users to appropriate governmental authorities where required by law enforcement or judicial authorities, including in matters involving a danger to personal or public safety, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Grand Visions Media clients, customers or others.

Aggregate/Anonymous Data. We may use aggregate, anonymous data (which does not identify you) to perform statistical analyses of the collective characteristics and behavior of visitors to the Site; to measure user interests regarding specific areas of the Site; and to analyze how and where best to use our resources.

Exceptions. On occasion we may collect Personal Information through the Site with the intent to afford a greater degree of privacy than is otherwise set forth in this Policy. In those situations we will clearly disclose at the time of collection what degree of privacy will be afforded to that information; and we will follow a process to assure that the specifically disclosed degree of privacy is in fact afforded to such information.

4. How can you review and modify your Personal Information?

You have the following option for modifying or requesting deletion of Personal Information previously provided by you to Grand Visions Media: send an email to account1@grand-visions-media.com.

5. What is the opt-out policy for the Site?

Grand Visions Media provides clients and subscribers with the opportunity to opt out of receiving communications from us. If you no longer wish to receive specific communications or services, email account1@grand-visions-media.comwith your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under this section.

For purposes of exercising your rights above, please note the following regarding how Grand Visions Media collects and uses your Personal Information as described in this Policy:

  • We may collect the following categories of Personal Information: identifiers; payment information; commercial information; internet or other electronic network activity information; approximate geolocation data; and audio/electronic communications you choose to send us.

  • We may disclose the following categories of Personal Information for a business purpose (e.g., to service providers): identifiers; payment information; commercial information; device/usage information; and basic demographic information you choose to provide.

  • We do not sell Personal Information.

6. What kinds of security procedures are in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of your information?

The Site has security measures equal to or better than those reasonably expected in the industry, such as firewalls and access controls, in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of your Personal Information under our control. While we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration to data will not occur, Grand Visions Media takes reasonable precautions to prevent such occurrences. Certain particularly sensitive information, such as your credit card number, collected for a commercial transaction is encrypted prior to transmission and processed by a third-party payment processor.

7. Tracking Technologies

Grand Visions Media may employ the following tracking technologies on its Devices:

  • Cookies: Small text files stored on your Device to recognize you and your access privileges and to track site usage. We use both “session ID cookies” (expire when you close your browser) and “persistent cookies” (remain for future sessions).

  • Web Beacons: Small graphic images or web programming code that may be used to count visitors, monitor navigation, or count email opens and link clicks.

  • Embedded Scripts: Programming code designed to collect information about your interactions with the Site (e.g., links you click). The code is active only while you are connected to the Site.

  • HTML5/Local Storage: Browser web storage that may be used to improve functionality.

  • E-tags/Cache Browsers/Web Logs: We log IP addresses and Device identification to improve security, analyze trends and administer the Site. We may track movement within the Site, referral pages, access times and browser types.

You can typically control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, certain features of the Site may not function properly.

PART II – GRAND VISIONS MEDIA PRIVACY POLICY FOR INFORMATION COLLECTED OTHER THAN THROUGH THE SITE

The same rules set forth in Part I above for the Site will be applied to Personal Information you submit through channels other than the Site (including without limitation your opt-out rights in Part I, Section 5 above), except as follows:

  • The “cookies” and other tracking devices used by the Site and described in Part I above do not apply to Personal Information gathered through channels other than the Site.

  • Hardcopy Personal Information provided to Grand Visions Media which is not converted to electronic media or hosted by us will be subject to reasonable physical and administrative safeguards.

  • When Grand Visions Media collects Personal Information through channels other than the Site it may in some instances apply a different privacy notice to such information; where it does so it will conspicuously disclose at the time of collection what policy will apply to such information.
